On Wednesday May 1st the Criminal Justice program had a chance to tour the Boston Police Headquarters. The students had a chance to tour the facility with Sgt. Detective Saxton and speak with members from different departments such as ballistics, fingerprinting, and analysis units. The students even got to meet the crime scene response unit and do some hands on forensics.

A few other highlights was the "Communication Center 911." This part of the tour was given by Lisandra Cartagena-Willis who gave the students great information and advice about her career. We also had a chance to meet with the Boston Police Commissioner, William Gross, in his office. Commissioner Gross gave the students some great advice and shared some personal history with the students.

Special thanks to Sgt. Detective Saxton, Gabriel Rosa (Parent), and the Boston Police Department for taking the time to speak with our students about this career path.
