How did your time at Blue Hills prepare you for what you are doing now?

"With roots in the vocational education system at Blue Hills Regional, I embarked on a dynamic path after graduating. Initially pursuing business classes at Massasoit Community College while balancing the responsibilities of parenthood and employment, I gained valuable life skills in time management and resilience. Despite leaving college to prioritize work, my dedication remained steadfast.

Transitioning from the pizza industry to the realm of education marked a significant turning point. Beginning as a para in special education, I leveraged my diverse background in culinary and carpentry to excel in supporting students in these areas. Simultaneously, my passion for car detailing emerged, evolving into a thriving business over the course of 18 years.

My journey in education and entrepreneurship has been profoundly shaped by the principles instilled at Blue Hills Regional. The grit and determination cultivated there have been instrumental in shaping my vision for my company, where I strive to offer a distinct and superior service in vehicle care and maintenance. Drawing from my own vocational education experience, I am particularly enthusiastic about providing co-op opportunities to high school students, recognizing the transformative impact of such programs firsthand.

As a former vocational student myself, I find great fulfillment in returning to the vocational setting, both as an employer and mentor to co-op students. My commitment to excellence, honed through years of balancing various roles and responsibilities, drives my dedication to delivering exceptional service and fostering growth opportunities within my community.

What advice would you give to BHR students?

My advice to BHS is Stay focused. Learn as much as you can while in school/trade. Never give up and follow your dreams.
