The Blue Hills Athletic Hall of Fame Committee announces that their annual induction ceremony will take place on Friday, November 22nd. This year the Committee will be inducting longtime hockey coach Steve Woods, who captured 14 consecutive Mayflower League Championships, had 16 straight MIAA State Tournament appearances, and a South Sectional Championship. Also included in this year's induction class will be the 2001-2002 South Sectional Championship hockey team, which set the school record for victories with 20, while also capturing a Mayflower League Championship. The final inductee of the night will be 2002 graduate Ryan Moore who was a Mayflower League All-Star in baseball, a four time Mayflower League All-Star in hockey, and owns the Blue Hills, the Massachusetts state, and the national scoring records in hockey. The Friends of Blue Hills Athletics award will be presented to longtime Blue Hills athletics supporter and super fan Jane Koziol. The ceremony will be held at the Randolph Elks, located at 21 School St., Randolph, MA. The doors will open at 6:00 and dinner will begin at 6:30 with the ceremony to follow.
