We congratulate SkillsUSA State President Karimah Land for being the recipient of the $1,000 Marsha Daves Memorial Scholarship which was awarded to her at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Confrence in Louisville, Kentucky.

According to the SkillsUSA web site, "The scholarship will recognize how our student leaders use the personal skills they develop to be a team member, leader, employee, citizen and an effective individual that fulfills the mission of SkillsUSA."

She received other scholarships totaling $3,000 as well before the week concluded.

Karimah plans to attend Husson University in Bangor, Maine for the Physical Therapy Accelerated Program.

We wish her the very best as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life and education!
